Since 2007 we’ve worked with Beau Lotto and the Lottolab team on various projects including The Soundwall, Seeing Instruments, Real Sound (binaural recordings) as well as facilitating various other elements of the Musical Spaces programme and the Science Museum Lates.
Beau’s first TED talk gives an overview of perception. Whilst much of Lottolab’s research starts with the use of the visual sense-perception, we have become involved in how the visual and audio sense-perceptions relate to each other and how we can untilise this to enhance or improve the storytelling within a theatrical environment.
Below is a more recent video from Beau, and plus a page on the Seeing Instruments.
